Loud Sun Studio

The studio has moved! Well, not really, just expanded. We have relocated the control and playback area into its own room, providing a clearer and more comfortable listening environment. We have also gained a kitchen, a vocal booth, and three other rooms currently used for equipment storage, alternate listening area, and our office, which is a desk with a printer on it and a bag of roasted pecans from my nana, mmmmmm.
The big room is still in operation for recording, but there is a large open space in it now where the playback area used to be. So far it has been used for jumping, playing ladderball, and reorganizing merch-bins. Some ideas for this space are a new drum area, more isolation booths, or a stage of some sort. The loft is split into two halves, one a still functioning recreational or lounge area, the second half is slowly being turned into an instrument and equipment workshop.
The name of the facility has been changed to Loud Sun Studio.

There has been recent excitement in two live recordings captured here in NH. Looking back to the summer of 2007, specifically to a show at the Durling's house in Nelson, NH, which was host, that night, to many incredible performances (hear Tell Stories set on the first Toadstool Bootleg Series). Among them was one of D. Iretone's great performances as Dredd Foole, which has just been released as 'Songs to Despond Ya'. Check it out.
Also, take your mind back to Peterborough, NH for The Thing in the Spring 2008, three days of music. One highlight was an intimate performance by Damon and Naomi. Video captured by Tim Gurzcak, see and hear it here.
